Put cake mixture in it, and tap it on the slab to reduce air bubbles.

Baking a cake is not difficult. You must know the correct way of baking. Following things you must keep in your mind while baking.

  • All utensils i.e., bowls, spoons, spatula or measuring pots that you are using must be dry.
  • Baking is all about measuring, quantity of every ingredients is very important. Do not merge things.
  • Time of baking may differ from oven to oven. So always start with less time, than gradually increase time

Let’s bake a cake. Thing you need are obvious, but as follows.


  1. All-purpose flour                        1 cup.
  1. Sugar                                              7 tablespoon ( full over the top )
  1. Oil/ghee                                          100gm
  1. Baking soda                                 1 full pinch
  1. Baking powder                         1 medium pinch
  1. Coco powder                            6 tablespoon ( full over the top )
  1. Cooking chocolate                     1 cup. ( that may be used)


For decoration

  1. Cooking chocolate         ½ cup
  2. Ghee                                 3 tablespoon



First beat eggs and sugar together until mixture is fluffy and like a white bubbles in it. Than take a saucepan with simmering water in it and put a bowl over it(DOUBLE BOILER). melt the chocolate and ghee in it. Mix this chocolate with eggs beat slightly. OR if coco powder, than put ghee in eggs and beat slightly. Then put coco powder and mix in it.

Now mix dry things together in bowl and fold them in to your cake mix. The final mixture should not too thick, not too thin. Now grease the pan with oil or use parchment paper in it. Put cake mixture in it, and tap it on the slab to reduce air bubbles.

If you have baking oven than preheat it at 180 degree Celsius for 15 minutes and bake it for 2 hours. If you have microwave oven than first bake it for 5 minute if cake is done than okay. If not than go for some more time. If you don’t have oven than take your pressure cooker, take rubber out, and place an empty bowl in it, over the bowl place your cake pan and put lid on cooker, do not tight it. Than cook at low flame for 30 minute.

Check the cake by putting a toothpick in its center. If it is dry your cake is ready. It not than it will take some more time.

Now for decoration put chocolate and ghee in double boiler. Add some sugar in it. And melt all these things at low flame.

Now take your cake out. And let it cool at room temperature for half an hour. Now put chocolate mixture over it, and let it set for half an hour. Your marvelous cake is ready.


You can use butter unsalted in it instead of ghee. The quantity of butter is 1 cup. Or 500 gm. This all I am telling you is from my own 6 years’ experience of baking cake at home.
