Paratha Achar and Tea

Breakfast is very important for a day to start. This should be healthy and nutrients as said by people. Today I am telling you something interesting what are basic usual breakfast we do in our country Pakistan.

Well I live in Lahore (city) and LAHORI NASHTA (Lahorei Breakfast) is very famous in our country. Here is a list of these incredible breakfast, you might call them less healthy, but they are great.

Halwa Poori

It is Halwa (confections), with Poori (Unleavened deep-fried Indian-Pak bread) and Channa (Chickpeas), people normally drink Lassi (Milk Cocktail) with this Nastha (Breakfast).

Halwa is basically, Semolina pudding. It is made on low flamed with sugar, ghee and it is garnish it with almonds.

Poori is a Bread made from white flour (All purpose flour) with baking soda and salt in it. After rolling the dough ball with roller, it is fried in hot oil. Channy is basically chickpeas curry, you can say it, cooked in basic Indian style. Lassi (my favorite drink) it is made from yogurt, sugar and some water. You can also add salt. If you want to know complete recipe of all. I will write this for you guys with pictures description of every step. But you have to like and share it.

CHikkar CHolye

CHikkar CHolye is served with Naan (bread) and you can have lassi or normal lime water with it. Well I prefer lime water with it. CHikkar CHolye is chickpea Salan, made in a little different style, it look like chickpeas are in Salan pudding so, it is called CHikkar CHolye.

Naan. It is roti made from all purpose flour and whole grain flour with some baking soda and salt in it. You can make it in oven.

Lime water simple refreshing drink I love so much. Put some salt, sugar in water mix it well than add lemon juice and pour water in it, here go go

BUN MAKHAN (Butter)

Take a regular bun of big size or small size, cut it from its center, like book. Put sweet butter in it, close it. Enjoy it.

Best Nastha in home, in my opinion. Paratha is a roti made from whole grain flour with butter/ghee.

Achar is Pickle. Put some pickle in your Paratha and have a cup of tea with it. This is what I will do this morning.Paratha Achar and Tea
